Smoker fined for dropping cigarette in mall parking lot

A 42-year-old smoker has been fined over £ 100 for throwing his cigarette on the ground in Burton.

Joanna Lancaster appeared outside Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court where she admitted to throwing a cigarette on the ground in the parking lot of Coopers Square shopping center in Burton on October 14.

Lancaster, of Juniper, Tamworth, was fined £ 40, court costs £ 80 and a victim fine surcharge of £ 34.

Kieran fitzpatrick, 25, of Dallow Street, Burton, was convicted of operating a Honda in Derby Road, Burton on November 7 without insurance and free of charge to operate the vehicle other than in accordance with a license.

He was fined £ 880, court costs £ 90 and a victim fine surcharge of £ 88. His license was approved with eight points.

Stan ionut, 31, of Stafford Street, Burton, was convicted of driving a Peugeot in Union Street, Burton on November 7 without reasonable consideration for others using that road.

He was fined £ 880, court costs £ 90 and victim fine surcharge £ 88. He was banned from driving for six months after magistrates heard of his recurrence.

Ryan forster-brass, 26, of Oakfield, Lichfield, admitted to driving a vehicle in Bar Lane, Barton under Needwood on April 14, with 44 micrograms of alcohol in 100 milliliters of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms.

He was fined £ 120, court costs £ 85 and a victim fine surcharge of £ 34. He was banned from driving for 15 months.
