NHS Lanarkshire marks National Smile Month with offer to help smokers
NHS Lanarkshire is offering help for those who want to quit smoking in recognition of National Smile Month.
The event kicked off on May 16 and will run until June 16.
The health board supports those who want to kick the habit of promoting good oral hygiene.

National Smile Month is run by the Oral Health Foundation and aims to raise awareness of important oral health issues.
Smoking tobacco can cause serious health damage and lead to gum disease, make smokers more likely to produce dental plaque and increase the risk of developing oral cancer.
Quit Your Way is a free NHS quit smoking service that offers a range of advice to help you, NHS Lanarkshire highlights support during National Smile Month to encourage people to take care of their oral hygiene .
The service is open to anyone wishing to quit smoking and can be accessed by calling an advisor or chatting online with an advisor.
Experts will be able to talk about all the options available, refer free local NHS services, send a free Quit Your Way Scotland pack, help plan quitting in an appropriate way and offer comprehensive support and advice.
There are 15 local NHS Quit Your Way services in Lanarkshire which offer services such as helpline.
Services are at: Carnwath, Lanark, Coalburn, Douglas, Rigside, Wishaw, Motherwell, Hamilton, Bellshill, Viewpark, Airdrie, Coatbridge, East Kilbride, Rutherglen and Cumbernauld.
