AND TODAY MARKS THE FIRST BIRTHDAY SINCE THE DISAPPEARANCE OF 18-YEAR-OLD LINDA STOLTZFO.OS, THE TEEN AMISH WAS SEEN THIS DAY LAST YEAR AS SHE RETURNED FROM CHURCH IN LEACOCK TOWN, COUNTY FROM IP LANCASTER. A MONTH LATER, THE POLICE STOPPED JUSTOS SMOKING IN CONNECTION WITH HIS DISAPPEARANCE. IN APRIL OF THIS YEAR, INVESTIGATORS RECOVERED HIS DEPOSITS IN A WOODED AREA OUTSIDE GAP, NEAR THE COMPANY WHERE THE SMOKER HAD WORKED. THE CORONER BELIEVES LINDA WAS KILLED SOON AFTER HER DISAPPEARANCE AND HER BODY MOVED

Monday marks one year since the disappearance of 18-year-old Linda Stoltzfoos. The Amish teenager was last seen on June 21, 2020, as she walked home from church in Upper Leacock Township, Lancaster County. A month later, police arrested Justo Smoker in connection with his disappearance. In April 2021, investigators recovered Stoltzfoos’ remains from a wooded area outside of Gap, near the company where Smoker worked. Smoker is charged with felony murder, kidnapping and forcible confinement. He is in Lancaster County Jail awaiting trial.
