Burnley Police Department PCSO Beccy Walker said the store was caught selling illicit tobacco to customers.
Staff also failed test purchases made by Lancashire County Commercial Standards officers.
In a statement, PCSO Walker said, âThe Famous Shop has received a court order and will be closed for the next 3 months.
âThis is after receiving information from our community about the store selling illicit tobacco and the failure of the test purchases by Trading Standards.
“Thank you to everyone who helped us through this process, it is thanks to you that we have had such a positive outcome.”
