During the lockdown of the COVID-19 pandemic, patients reported increased stress and decreased overall mood and physical activity, according to a recent study. It was the flagship story of cardiology last week.
Another big story was about a link between the risk of heart failure (HF) and aspirin use. Study results published in ESC heart failure showed that people with risk factors for HF who took aspirin were 26% more likely to develop HF at 5.3 years than those who did not.
